Pre-requisite viewing/listening to my upcoming post i will title, The shame game -sandra mickanen draft in progress
Prerequisites for reading, understanding, getting value out of my upcoming post,
titled: the shame game.
Oprah's Podcasts:
1. When your kids wont put their phones down
2. Gen Z tech addiction crisis
3. The real reason we can't stop scrolling
my intention will not be to further drown us in what is happening to society
-it is already very clear.
my intention will not be to further drown us in the scientifically understood reasons 'why'
-or the 'what' is happening in our brain.
my intention is not to sell advertising alongside; my intention is not to sell a book about..
or create an app product..
my only intention in writing my upcoming post, is to share:
how to initially avoid [most ideal] heal from [as necessary] and conquer [ultimately]; these online addictions
and help on how to raise your children in this secular world, and give them a fighting chance
against the avalanche; chronic bombardment of destructive and exploitive online content
**
i know i will be pointing out the common denominator of 'shame';
the common denominator of the shame humans experience when they are doing something their conscience communicates is not okay; and/or society says is not okay.. culture, family/friends.. have messaged is not okay.
and that 'shame' humans are experiencing,
can be experienced by people battling eating disorders, people who steal, petty thieves, by people with physical drug/alcohol/food addictions, by people with online digital addictions; be they shopping, adult content, gaming..
the shame can be experienced from being poor.. feeling stupid.. long list.
it can also be experienced by the people who are making, contributing, selling products they consciously know are contributing to other peoples addictions..
it can be experienced by the people who are profiting from exploiting others.
it can be experienced by healthy, functional friends/family members who are ashamed their offspring is struggling with an addiction -a reflection they've done something wrong
-have you anything you feel the need to hide; keep secret [not the same as keeping things private; secure; safe]
if you are hiding something; shame will result.
if/when you experience shame; that is a good thing. it suggests your heart, mind, soul, spirit have not be 'hardened' -are not cauterized. -have not gone 'cold' have not been deceived, desensitized to the point of utter indifference; apathy. -or drifted to justification; rationalizations
in much more detail later, but..
things brought into the light...
the truth..
just as the Bible says and promises.. the truth; WILL set you free
notes for upcoming post:
Joyce Meyer [variable type of hardship/trauma here] <------- may, in fact, be the reason you are the way you are; the reason you do certain things you wish you didn't do
but don't let it become an excuse to stay that way.

while writing this is a priority for me;
i won't be able to get to it for a couple weeks.
