PLEASE REMOVE THIS ICON FROM MY BLOG

it allows me, if i want, for google to 'automatically' create hyperlinks within my content.

I DO NOT WANT ANY AUTOMATIC HYPERLINKS

i only want the ones i personally, consciously choose to create.

even though i did not choose/select it..

i just found several 'automatic' hyperlinks in my prior post that I DID NOT PUT IN

and had to go back, 

erase, retype, in order to remove said hyperlinks.

I DO NOT WANT THEM.  I DO NOT WANT THIS ICON ON MY PAGES WHEN I GO TO WRITE NEW POSTS.

HOW DO I..

GET RID OF IT   -HAVE IT REMOVED?

I fully agree with charlie kirk on this -sandra mickanen

 i did not know or follow charlie kirk but since his death have watched some of his appearances

- i do like how much he promoted love; marriage; family.

example from my own life:   my paternal grandparents, married young, had 4 children, stay married..

they had 2 sons, 2 daughters, 

and i'm going to specifically share about my aunt tina (well represented in my archives);

her generation was taught to value work, education, careers..  -also taught to fear a population overload and not contribute to it.    and she was part of the womens movement

when we were in my grandparents home at the same time..   my aunt would do a skit to kind of light heartedly make fun of how her mom doted on her dad...

first she would pretend to be her dad (my grandpa), lean back in the recliner, and in a masculine voice say   "i feel kinda thirsty"

and then she would pop up, pretend to be her mom (my grandma), skip-run to the kitchen, and come back with a pretend glass of ice tea to hand to her husband in his recliner. 

she would point out verbally,  "he doesnt even have to ask, honey, would you get me some tea please...  all he has to do is say he's thirsty!"

we'd laugh...    and, as a young person, a young woman especially, and HUGE fan and admirer of my aunt tina   -early recruit of the womens movement..

didn't that just seem so...   so silly.  so, pro-man, anti-woman...    why should she be doting on her husband like that...     the embarrassment of it..   her naivety & ignorance..     such old school ways.

"both your legs are working..  you can get your own glass of tea if you want one"

that's how my aunts generation and my generation was going to be more...     -equal.

smarter and equal.   -not get taken advantage of!

my aunt tina..  her generations 'messaging' was..   education, career..    -marriage, doting on a man, being a slave to a house and children was outdated and very discouraged.  the planet doesnt need more people..     all those poor women slaves; just miserable...

and i bought into some of that as well;  -for a time.

but when i did decide to pursue becoming a mommy...     /unconventional..   via, anonymous sperm donor

but when i did decide, 

i will always remember sitting on the edge of a bed, pregnant, and having a private conversation with my aunt tina..

she shared how much she wished she would have had children.  how much she wished she could go back, and...

but it was too late for her.    she applauded me..    wish i would have done what you're doing

and, i think every generation..  encourages financial wealth...     

it stuck out to me, in one part of charlie kirks talk   "don't wait until you can afford to have children.."

i agree.

there's no such time, really..

my aunt tina..     she married later in life.   a millionaire.

the story is in my blog archives..      he was a con man; went to jail..

so, she was not only childless..  but suffered a deceitful fraud of a 'wealthy' husband

and her life ended way too early; from either 'accidentally' or intentionally drowning in a pool.

all of it makes me look back 

at my grandparents generation..    people who fell in love, married young, poor (relatively speaking), had babies, raised children..    were part of 'family culture'   -stayed married til death did them part.

and then, the results of 'education/career first & only culture'   womens  -empowerment...

the upshot for me is,   -fall in love, get married, make babies..    that's the meaningful, enriching and challenging and rewarding part of life..

education/careers on the side.

i've been seeing lots of pop ups lately...   re-promoting how important, valuable WORK..

laughing at the idea of work/life balance   discouraging it in very pronounced ways..

if you want to succeed you need to be willing to put in  X number of hours..   we need passion, obsession..  complete dedication...  

and they will take it   -anything/everything you are willing to give; they will take.

but if you fast forward, 

and they bail..     things change..

you end up with nothing but money; no spouse, no children, no family ..

no children, i remind, also means no grandchildren, or great grandchildren..

and further remind:  you can go to school at any age..  you can have/change careers..

but the window for having babies...

so, charlie kirk, i'm all for it too:  fall in love, get married, make babies..   dote on each other; spoil each other a little bit..    predict your spouses needs...    and meet them.   its a beautiful gesture of love...  not ignorance.

they had it write all along...

For us who believe: Ephesians 3 16-21 A prayer for everyone i love...

 16  May he grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your inner most being and personality 

17 May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, 

18  That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God's devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it];

19  [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being]  unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!

BIBLE STUDY GUIDE: FRIENDS & FELLOWSHIP & FUN! -START ONE; JOIN ONE... by sandra mickanen

i am so delighted to learn about the growth of bible study groups!  i've had multiple conversations with a variety of people, young and mature..

i love it!

i am also aware, some new bible study groups are forming, but without a real plan for what to do once you gather.

i offer the following:

JUST JUMP IN! in the Bible; New Testament.

do not worry about grasping all the history; geography; scholarly this and that when you are just beginning.

Rather:  concrete example:

BIBLE I USE:   The Everyday Life Bible, Amplified Version, featuring notes & commentary by Joyce Meyer

START WITH:  Ephesians

BE READY TO HAND-WRITE! 

CREATE THESE HEADINGS:

1.  CHRISTIAN (INNER) EXPERIENCE   *  2.  CHRISTIAN CONDUCT/WAYS OF BEING

3.  WHAT CHRISTIANS RECEIVE & GIVE IN RETURN

4.  THE WORLD vs. THE KINGDOM     5.  FLESH vs. SPIRIT

and then, as you take turns reading scriptures   -discuss and determine what heading the scripture belongs under.

i.e., 

CHRISTIAN (INNER) EXPERIENCE   [FREE] via cultivating a relationship w/Jesus

    receive/experience:  love, grace, spiritual peace, harmony, unity, undisturbedness, deliverance, forgiveness, redemption, mercy, favor, blessings; wisdom, insights, revelations; salvation

CHRISTIAN CONDUCT/WAYS OF BEING (goals)

    consecrated, holy, set apart, blameless, above reproach   [note, no one starts here, Ephesian 2.. it is a direct result of cultivating a relationship with Jesus..  this can take years

GIVE IN RETURN

time, love, praise, laudation, commendation; obedience

and you will no doubt add headings as you continue to read..

ok, that's a starting point for anyone looking..

but, the goal of a bible study group is not exclusively to study the bible..   it is about fellowship, friendship, having fun..

all of those things combined glorify God's name

and that is the ultimate goal for each and every Christian:  Glorify God's name in the way you walk through your every day life..

does it mean being perfect?   -heavens no

but it does mean, when you mess up, you recognize it..  ask for forgiveness & guidance..

it does mean, you will ask for and give forgiveness..   and the very need we will all have to give or ask for forgiveness, suggests we make mistakes

mistakes..   they are the pre-requisite, if you will..  for forgiveness; of self & others. 

what i want to say, or remind is this:  Glorifying God's name does not mean being perfect.

but a natural result of cultivating a relationship with Jesus via prayer, Bible Study, learning from Bible teachers, is that you will be inspired (not mandated, or manipulated) to 'come up higher' in every area.

where more than 2 people gather in His name..

fun snacks, food, potluck...   always a plus at any bible study gathering

and, some type of easy, social, game..   LCR, trivia, pictionary..

this is also one of the greatest ways to meet and make new friends.

   -quality friends.

my closing suggestion is to make sure everyone feels  -comfortable.    do not ask the shy to lead the discussion..

let the natural leaders; lead.    let the organizers; organize.   let the bakers; bake.   let the writers; write..

you get the idea.

start with just a couple people..   let word of mouth be your greatest testimony & invitation.

extend invitations; never force the issue.  let 3 times be your cut-off..   if someone does not show interest after 3 invites..  let it go.

may God shine on your efforts; on your Bible Study; on the fellowship and friendships!  may current friendships deepen and new ones be formed..

may you each and every one of you enjoy learning about Jesus!  and want to learn more and more..

   -seek first the Kingdom..

approach with the desire to want to get to know Jesus   -like some people want to know everything about current day celebrities..

be a Christ follower..     best decision you'll ever make.

million trillion "Thank You Jesus!" prayers...

it would be boring for me to just post a pix with a caption [repeat, repeat]; rather i really look forward to a window of time opening for me to take select pictures and create with them; something unique, creative & fun that captures this very special  -due season experience

so, upcoming...

and i will just close with something i didn't get a picture of; i only saw in passing somewhere...

but it did make me laugh

it was a t-shirt that read,  i used to be a people person until people ruined it.

we've been experiencing these back to back blessings while the world continues to go crazy all around us, and! despite a government shut down...

it's also been a great break from 'the news'

but even before our great break, i woke up one morning with this song in my head, a familiar melody with new lyrics; and it was directly inspired by watching/listening to 'the news'

    -so, these automatic links would help my imaginary readers learn more... or 'dive deeper'

but, i'll make those choices..

and, really, i'd only be interested if the links were within my blog itself; no outside sources..

because,

or i.e., like the scholars like to say..

tomorrow, october 23rd, 2025,  is the 20 year anniversary of the nike women's (half) marathon i participated in, 

and it would be great to post that and have it 'automatically link' to the post i wrote and shared from that experience..

but i will do that myself; tomorrow..    i re-read it myself, and wow! to the earth angel i was blessed to meet..

adding germane memory:  the first time i saw one of my texts  -a personal text to a friend-  and on the receiving end of said text a couple of my words had links inserted for person to click on.  I NEVER CREATED THOSE LINKS  -never needed, asked for, or wanted any of my words in a casual text to a friend to link to something else; period.  my first reaction was 'word rape'   -very strong word/description, i realize..  but when your words suddenly have links you never placed in; asked for/wanted/or intended..

it's a pretty yucky, intrusive feeling.   especially add on, you cannot figure out who/what/when/why.. and how to un-do or prevent it.   -that has to happen at a higher/behind the seens, programming/coding level.  

so, at least, this new icon that popped up.. [which i cannot seem to make go away, even though i have already determined i do not want 'auto google links' ]    -at least they are asking first...

also, 

as everyone already knows..   too many links prevents the context/content of a paragraph from being comprehended  -rabbit hole syndrome

perhaps, they should not be within the paragraphs..   but, only after/bottom of the page
