My daughter has heard me say it more than my son, but only because she is older. I pick various times to point it out because they have exposure to quite a spectrum of financial circumstances.. Some families/friends with great wealth, some families/friends struggling to put food on the table. I consider it a blessing that they get to see both and not just one or the other. But recently I've learned of 3 different divorces in progress... 2 are wealthy couples, 1 is not. But here is the lesson.. Money makes no difference. Rich or poor. When you look at what money can and cannot do.. It cannot keep a couple together.
