JASMINE & THE VIETNAM WAR DOCUMENTARY -notes- from (me!) sandra, tvgp

it is making its way into several different conversations, taking place at different places, involving different people at different times:

the Vietnam war documentary by ken burns recently airing on PBS

and, I was already planning on watching it based solely on jasmine's testimony.   -jasmine

she is the beautiful hair stylist you see in the far back write side corner of cosmo's barber shop in downtown Pleasanton

and some of you know, I cut my own hair for so many months in a row, and eventually it requires a professional to fix and correct the damage ive done

and often I go then to jasmine

and we always exchange small talk..  how my kids are doing/how her kids are doing..  the weather..

but!

during my most recent visit she was on fire!  like ive never heard or seen her before   - talking so in detail and with great enthusiasm and animation about the Vietnam documentary    -she herself, born there

-her and her husband have been watching..       learning, watching..   and she reiterated parts of part one,   and she told me at least three times,

"8 o'clock TONIGHT!    watch it, watch it..   part two"

***

and then, Motown and his friend, frank..  frank's brother having served in the Vietnam war..    they were going on about it..

***

and then, Anthony from alden lane..     and a customer he was talking to..
and did he tell me..  he recognized one of alden lane's customer's in it   ?   I think so.

***

and then,  random customers I was not intentionally eavesdropping on...   they were talking about it

***

and I must see it for myself; I must!    -but I also must wait for a bit, because I do want to give it my complete and undivided attention..

***

In Jesus name...  amen
