you know how vaccines work.. small innocuous dose of the thing you want to avoid all together -teaches the physical body what to recognize/fight off.. /very crude, layperson description I am aware
but I use it for the spiritual analogy: as the vaccine is to the flu; missing/longing are to death.
saying a geographic goodbye ultimately strengthens you for a physical world goodbye -at least, for those of us who are lifetime students in spiritual school. I.J.N. amen.
