A virtual parade of 'WOW!' moments Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil
rolling stone said it better, more succinctly, more accurately than i ever could
so let me just repeat and credit them:
A virtual parade of 'WOW!' moments
for (me!) personally; the best show i have ever.. or probably will ever see! next level creativity -fusing some of the greatest dance music, with breathtaking choreography, phenomenal costumes, master level acrobatics, spectacular sets, michael-jackson-magic galore -directed to perfection. the light show! the surprises.. can't "thank you!" enough for the existence of this show. i wish the whole wide world could see it
and if that was the only thing we did while in las vegas.. would have been worth the flight. we had tickets originally for Michael Jackson ONE performance last year, which got covid-canceled.. but, -worth the wait! encore, encore, encore...
and all of it is a '
return to the scene of great times!' -staying in our castle..
best ever steak dinner event @ gallaghers "thank you! adam" for wonderful service
and, on the list of things i love to watch
i love to watch my sexy enjoy a new york steak
and savor his favorite dessert combination /inspired by his brother:
cognac and new york cheesecake.
and on the topic of savoring.. for me it's filet mignon. and i devote the space in my stomach exactly so i can thoroughly delight in every bite; so, only one piece of way delicious, fresh, cranberry, nut bread before my entree arrives
-self control; self-control..
a light cocktail
and, -why would anyone waste one bite on veggies if a filet is on the plate..
the big apple rollercoaster, which we could see from our castle
-brought out the thrill-seeker in us.. "we did that!"
and a wonderful steak dinner at craftsteak.. and happened across two different live country concerts, two different nights.. and two nights of non-stop dancing at mandalay bay.. "thank you!" to the awesome dj.. no one ever left the floor! and he played our song /i say with a smile,
'blow the whistle' all the way through -uninterrupted! and outstanding pastrami sandwich lunch at greenberg & sons.. and crazy good onion rings, chicken, cold beers, sport fans vibe at the vagabond.. and such a fun, humorous time receiving sarcastic, awful service at dicks.. -we stayed sustained with a burger here, an ice cream there.. a beer there, a water here.. and went light on the gambling; and heavy on the sight-seeing
-noticed ducks everywhere in vegas -not realizing when we booked our stay, it was the pac 12 championships. oh! i would have worn my 'proud mother ducker' jacket and got some laughs.. and would have loved to see oregon win, of course.. but it still stands out to me write now
-how gracious, sportsmen-like, impressive the utes were as winners; crowds of red shirts just celebrating their victory.. no trash talk.. "congratulations!" -exemplary
and along with a lot of ducks.. there were a lot of cowboys. turns out there was also a national (international?) rodeo in vegas while we were there..
and a softball tournament..
and a raider game! /which ended, like the oregon game. in fact.. none of our teams; the ducks, the vikings, the raiders -even the warriors had a loss
and yet, i've never felt more like a winner -walking all around vegas in the arms of my sexy; fine dining, drinking, dancing
and in our castle romancing.
"Thank You! Jesus!" -we are awake to every blessing, and Praise your trustworthy, loving, understanding name -amen.
and now,
you know how, with sports, and the raiders are a great example! -there are several 'pre-game' shows on tv and the radio.. everyone talking about the teams, the players.. the possibilities. a lot of hype and build-up..
and then, after a game.. even more! tv shows and radio.. everyone talking about the details.. the highlights.. i even recently came across a tv show.. and they devoted one full hour to talking about the raiders..
and that is awesome for raider fans!
and it got me to thinkin'
how fun it would be, if there was all kinds of talk about ONE, pre-show..
and how much fun it would be, if there was some tv and radio shows where credentialed artists discussed in great detail, each song/dance/performance/costume/act, etc. -post seeing ONE
like, i just want to marinate in it again, and for a long while..
so, -i'm going to go read some of the archived rolling stone articles..
i'm not looking for critics.. i'm looking for fans like (me!).

"i just can't stop loving you..."
