USE THIS IN A SENTENCE!

original post:  09/05/2007:

peeked at my daughter's english homework. "write a sentence using the following words"

18. my friend is very affable

19. if my mom is dancing i want to stay anonymous

20. my brother is atrocious

so of course i'm going to design a t-shirt "i am taryn's mom"

pay a visit to the school campus at lunch time, with my portable cd player, bring her brother with me; make some memories.

karma: nothin' wrong with missin' school. for me personally, first time around i went to school but missed the lessons; so i'm back now. old lady on campus. and just like in 4th grade; love my teacher. but lunch and parking are much more expensive! and i sure do miss being able to walk to school.

makes me laugh thinkin' about it. how when i was younger i just wanted in the worst way to be old enough to drive. 25 years of drivin' now and i'd much rather walk.

kj: welcome, thank you, and nice to e-meet you. any friend of singtome's is a dear friend of mine.

ah, yes.. book proposals. what fun, eh. i printed out one of mine, folded it in three's, handwrote on the outside "pray for me" and put in the plate along with my offerings on sunday.

"it's in God's hands now" i told my sister

honestly.. i've hit that "if it's meant to be it will be" mental state of mind

and i hope it is meant to be for you! may God shine on your words and proposal! look forward to visiting your blog ~s.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

This is my favorite moment of the day so far. How hilarious. Love it.

You have already shown your daughter you have abundant passion and joy - what a beautiful thing :) And someday, brother won't be so atrocious. I know from experience!

singtome: practicin' my moves around the house today; just gettin' warmed up

bh: one day you will know this secret joy. the pure bliss that comes from having your children look up at you with flushed faces and in a strained whisper say

"stop it mommy! you are embarrassing me!"

"but it is my favorite parenting responsibility"

LMAO!! "19. if my mom is dancing i want to stay anonymous"

Oh how fun it is to have disciplinary munitions when you need them. Who needs idle threats? Just start dancing!

kj: makes my day, thank you! and i trust it is the laugh of familiarity..

kmg/bbf: i've got it all worked out now, the whole motivation thing

threaten my daughter with dancing;
threaten my son with playing the flute

-homework done and in the backpack-
