we love joyce meyer! -the micks (sandra & robert)

we watch A LOT of church tv; and a few different tv ministers; but the one we watch the most, 7 days a week really, and have for many years:  joyce meyer

i do regard her as my #1 spiritual mentor.  i listen, i apply, and have found out via testing in real world situations, that what she teaches can be counted on as true

i love her teaching style, because she just talks.  that is, she is not a charismatic, jumping, yelling, hyping..

her style/content of message is this:  go to school on me.  and she shares her real life experiences, how she once processed/handled life..  (the before, if you will); and how she evolved through reading/teaching/applying Biblical principles (the after, way of processing/behaving)

and she went from being quite traumatized, selfish, angry, stubborn, greedy, my-way-or-the-highway, miserable, self-pitying...  shame-based/guilty, depressed..  controlling and manipulative, ..long negative list

to being healed; generous; flexible, joyful, powerful (not pitiful), -to having a wildly successful tv ministry, helping too many people to ever correctly quantify..  a successful long term (2nd) marriage; 4 children all serving God and helping with ministry, looking/feeling good and serving others into her late 70's  -the author of over 100 books..    there is much more i could write here, but i've captured the general idea

and i've witnessed people over the years who stay stuck  -their entire lives!-  in very negative thinking/behavior patterns

and i've witnessed so many (self-included for sure) who get unstuck..   live productive, creative, joyful lives; who experience 'peace beyond human understanding'   -who go on to serve and help others..

and i'm going to publicly "THANK YOU!" Joyce Meyer write here and again, for another year of valuable, wonderful teachings.   and not only do i highly value your 'go to school on me' relaxed, conversational style, i love how you pull scripture from all throughout the Bible to validate your teachings; to demonstrate the source; the origins of the lessons you've learned to apply along the way

i've said it for decades now  "i am a student for life!"  i mean that, both quantifiably speaking, how ever many years i'm on this planet, and i also mean it, from a qualitative perspective:  for the actual experiential quality of my (our) day-to-day life..

how often do i whisper now to Jesus...    i get to love my life!  i love my life!  "Thank You!"

so on the long list of things i love...  God, with my whole heart, my whole mind, all my strength
Jesus...   Holy Spirit...   the Bible!   Joyce Meyer!  Joyce Meyer Ministries..  everyone who contributes..

i love the topic of love itself.  God IS love..      experiencing love, giving love, receiving love..

falling in love.  being in love..   growing in love..

and so, it is a natural, organic result, i believe, that i should spend from now through all of 2025, just exclusively writing/sharing about the people, places, activities, objects, experiences I LOVE.

hallelujah! selah! amen!    ... this is the day the Lord has made, Re-Joyce! and be very glad in it...

and i love every program/teaching, i get something out of every single program, but she has a 'bootcamp' series that also really delivers.  i revisit those lessons..

#joycemeyer  #love   #Jesus  #Bible   #enjoyingeverydaylife

my dad has a different tv minister he loves and watches:  Michael Youssef.  He says it's on his bucket list to get to Atlanta, Georgia just so he can attend Youssef's church in person..

-there is a great deal of variety available out there..  ministers, programs, teaching styles, preaching styles..

my prayer is that everyone can find their match:  who helps you evolve?  who helps you get unstuck and move forward..

toward greater love.
