GOTTA HAVE FAITH! (me!) ~tops

and was JUST at the bankhead theater in livermore, like, yesterday.. for charlotte severin's artist reception, of her one person show, "Take Me There" -spectacular of course! and i delighted in crossing paths again, after many years in some cases, with people from pleasanton and livermore literary circles #charlotteseverin

-but before i even walked in the theater, on the digital advertisements outdoors

"FAITH!"

so.. don't miss this performance! unless you are out of the country..

and,

before i drove to livermore, i had been in downtown pleasanton with my BMF's

(Beautiful Mom Friends)

and, i mentioned how during covid, we did continue to visit, but in was

at the veterans park on peters avenue, and we spread our chairs far apart on the grass

and we didn't hug -and how much i missed that connection

but "thank you Jesus!" because we are mask-free, vaccinated, & back to hugging at the beginning and the end of our coffee date friendship visits

and i mostly know, and read hunter s thompson thank you to squidmann... and i pretty much only know douglas brinkley from my watch-charlie-rose-every-day-at-noon days

and i never wrote about it... but i watched douglas brinkley with a great fascination... i am personally convinced, that man has powers of understanding and retention and explanation far superior to anyone else charlie ever interviewed..

the amount of history he has stored in his memory banks! and can so easily access... he can say in one conversation, without books, notes, flashcards of any kind, what a college professor spends an entire semester struggling to cover
