2 reasons i'm posting this:

1.  it is the first time ever, an AI Overview appeared within/embedded in my gmail.    and a very impressive summary it is, i must say..     i've encountered so many false, so many utterly wrong, so many 'hallucinations' online, in search,  i was beginning to lose hope really, 

2.  i am reminding THIS IS A CALL TO ACTION for current/future generations.  I do not have time/energy or calling to fix this, although i am 100% certain it needs to be fixed!  The hard-working, tax-paying, law abiding, contributing citizens DESERVE TO HAVE A SET TIME FOR OPEN MICS AT CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS.  PERIOD.     It is blatantly wrong how currently, you can barely figure out what day, time, open mics will be held..  sometimes randomly canceled or shortened;  and already ridiculous that you are restricted to 60 seconds and the council members are not required to even pretend to listen; and not required whatsoever to respond..

but..   the not knowing WHEN..      could be 3pm, or 4pm, or 5pm, or 6pm, or 7pm, or 8pm or, opps, sorry, its been postponed. 

the current time is: whenever our meeting ends..   ?     JOKE!

that is criminal.   what professional, what parent, or grandparent, or student..    who has HOURS to sit and WAIT...  and guess and hope..   

   the council members are being paid to be there; it is there JOB.

the public, who want their voices heard, who are volunteering, sacrificing their time, energy  -after long days of work..   having to find child care sitters..    having to plan around family meals, appointments, homework, on and on..

so:   should absolutely be that: i.e.,    6pm OPEN MIC FOR PUBLIC for (variable of time)

council meeting starts whenever, goes to .6pm..  at 6PM they pause for open mic..    open mic participants speak..

  -someone help make this happen, please and "Thank You!"
