for a new reader: CH = Cerebral Hyperlink. Different from a memory trigger in this way:
with a trigger, you are unable (yet) to control whether you revisit that memory.
-with a hyperlink; it is experienced as an 'option' whether you want to revisit a given memory.
in this case: sure, let's revisit this experience, my experience, <---- see how you can choose whether to click or not on the hyperlink..
in Jesus never-charged-a-fee's name, -amen.
and, since we're here..
NOW: what does any of this have to do with Donald J Trump?
for me, it is this: for all his business acumen, his communication skills... his public speaking..
lacks the same acumen.
and, -often we all, and certainly, I do: make judgements based on 'public speaking skills'
-but, by now,
I've encountered many -MANY- great speakers; fast talkers, 'gift of gab' types.. many people who can and do captivate an audience; influence.. mesmerize..
but their character, moral values (lack thereof); motivations..
deceitfulness, conscious manipulations..
and there are some outstanding, remarkable great public speakers, with high talent for extemporaneous speech.. who are of good, solid character, with healthy morals and motivations..
the upshot: we cannot and should not base our assessments of a person's character, on the public speaking skill set alone.
