Blessed case scenario! mothers/daughters dinner, baci's downtown pleasanton


now, there were whispers of it during the Christmas Party~Cookie Exchange this past december,  -taryn and her friend paloma..    "we should get our mom's together with us..  a brunch or something.."

and while those types of spontaneous ideas are often well intentioned; follow through, from my life experience, doesn't always happen

but in this blessed case scenario..  it did!     and the daughters, slash, friends.. they took several schedules into consideration; logistics..    and with only one reschedule, 

landed successfully on baci's in downtown pleasanton on friday evening, feb 23rd

and they even had fresh flowers for each of us three mom's placed on the table for when we arrived

and what a beautiful table it was!

and what a joy! for me to meet these two beautiful awesome moms for the first time...    and spend time with the daughters in a more meaningful and fun way

the conversations had a life all their own..  flowing free and easy..    -sometimes that's all you need in common; each mom now has a daughter in her 20-somethings, but we also had Jesus in common; our faith..  and that always allows for deeper connections

and the daughters had their wonderful friendships and histories...

and our table had some wonderful drinks (strawberries on fire! a fav for me n taryn), some generous appetizers.. and amazing entrees, from lamb to chicken to salmon and more..

they made it happen, and i'm so grateful for the experience

and it's not like each mom was not already proud of her daughter(s); 

but we are prouder still.   -very thoughtful!  very fun!
