it is our absolute favorite place to go, when we have family/friends visiting:
MONTEREY
...bike ride (traditional bike, surrey bikes) to lovers point/ pacific grove
hand~feed the most charming squirrels..
continue riding (if not renting surrey; based on age/stamina of guest) all the way to pebble beach
enjoy an incredible view while having lunch
ride back to cannery row shop/finish up at fisherman's wharf
hit the old fisherman's grotto for the best clam chowder in a garlic/butter dipped/toasted sourdough bowl you have ever, -will ever, have..
and until just yesterday -on our multiple visits to #monterey, for our bike rides, we had always A. rode our own traditional bikes or, B. as seen below, rented surrey bikes, but "thank you!" to my son..
We have fallen in love with electric bikes! (seen above) -details/story to come.
