URGENT: NOW HIRING: highly creative; sensitive, inclusive WRITERS
so, i work for God; Jesus; the Holy Spirit..
i do not work for myself. i am not a paid employee; nor a volunteer.
how this works, is all... interpretation. A loud voice from the sky, or heaven, does not boom down, and say in an audible way, "Sandra, I now want you to write about such n' such" I am not held to a word count and/or deadline.
Rather, I will be inspired (in spirit) via a series of similar events/conversations.. and i interpret series of events as unsubtle hints or requests.. and then i telepathically agree..
and then, i might start with one approach, but 'feel' or interpret that i'm being guided to take a different approach..
eventually, when i interpret that i've landed in agreement with the interpreted guidance; and 'we' agree

We need some highly creative, highly sensitive, highly inclusive writers -WRITE NOW!- in hollywood.
We need someone(s) who can address the horrific ongoing injustices suffered by..
suffered by..
suffered by almost every single person i've heard complaining in the past several months.
my goodness!
if anything is a pandemic in 2021; it is this frustrated feeling that we are all invisible; un, or under represented; falsely portrayed or marginalized; ignored!
and while ambassadors who point out the injustices are everywhere

"special needs...

"poor....
"mexicans.. latinos...
"Christians...
"atheists...
"good cops....
"mixed race...
"amish...
on and on...
and now, when i listen.. and i consider the request.. and i consider the challenge..
how can it be turned around? so that, each group mentioned above, and all the groups/individuals that feel the same, but that i did not specially mention (oh, goodness.. look at me, part of the problem; not mentioning every. single. human. being.)
what stories need to be written, filmed, seen?
what percentage of overall books and films?
is there a scenario, where every single group, individual, gets to feel SEEN! PROPERLY REPRESENTED! ACKNOWLEDGED! ACCURATELY PORTRAYED!
it is very obvious to (me!); the hunger...
the desire...
the need...
the cry is loud; widespread; chronic
and so, when i saw this most recent commercial.. 'hollywood in your pocket' the iPhone 13 Pro..
i was like, "Yes! there you have it!"
-now the power of movie-making is in your hands...
/those who can afford.. have the inspiration/desire... time.. skills...
or youtube....
opportunities to solve; to cure; to re-create... to properly portray...
to help us all "SEE" what we've unintentionally been denied...
shine your light!
entertain!
enlighten!
i would really encourage people to stop complaining; stop being an audience to anything that doesnt meet or support your standard; and start pro-actively creating, and/or support those who create what you support and love.
feed what you love
starve what you don't.
to this very solvable 'invisibility' problem; you are the answer.
