"STAMPS!" for golden psalms bespoke community shopping plaza -by sandra mickanen
re-mentioning, i LOVE stamps! love to have current USPS stamps to use for current mailings, AND, i keep used stamps from letters/cards i receive, which i will one day use to create something..
what? i don't yet know..
but! i received a post card from my daughter recently, and this just...
i was so delighted! -made me feel so good!! it is wonderful to receive something in the mail, handwritten, something that is not a bill, or advertisement!
****
that got me to -re-realizing how important the letter writing/stationery store will be at golden psalms!
because.. let's proactively give as many people as possible that wonderful, delighted feeling, that comes only from receiving a post-card, card, letter, note from a loved one..
phone calls are special too, no doubt.. but a card or letter! its its own magical, wonderful thing..
****
fills my imagination again!! pick out your beautiful paper, envelope, pen -from an exciting selection!
stamps made exclusively for this letter writing store... with (exclusive) new stamps on an irregular, unpredictable basis, so each stamp has unique value and a time stamp..
most importantly, here.. at golden psalms..
the charming PLACES TO SIT DOWN AND WRITE THAT CARD/LETTER on the spot..
while you dine, picnic..
surrounded in store by books that contain letters, posters with famous handwritten letters featured..
etc.
re-imagining.. with great JOY! the over-sized, one of a kind, designer USPS MAIL BOX..
-THE! mail box everyone wants to have their picture with, as they pop in their post-card, card or letter..
*****
in my imagination.... this is a super, SUPER COOL, very popular, fun, joyful, fruitful place! so much joy in the shopping, writing, mailing process... and the JOY! for everyone on the receiving end of a card or letter from...
****
in reality, - i realize the security that would be needed... i mean, our local USPS on Piedmont, here in San Jose..
the number of times its been vandalized.. the blue mailboxes themselves! the metal, mailboxes, BOLTED down, outside the post-office, so you can still mail things when the post office itself is closed..
even one of those has been sawed-off and stolen..
how can any of us ever have anything nice, fun, joyful, family-friendly, positive and good..
with criminal thugs so empowered... we are pro law & order, and need a lot more of it around here.
****
yes -golden psalms will indeed require high security.. we'd want to 24/7, 365 protect it from thugs, thieves, vandalism of any/all kinds, including graffiti,
a sanctuary for good, law abiding, respectful, people, families, who just want to be safe, have a blessed day..

turn page: notes..
i've been watching some very HIGHLY inspiring interviews, and could write, write, write, write...
but,
i need to be painting write now.
****
worth noting:
used to be, you had 2 people reading/assessing the same article; and even though they were reading/assessing the exact same article, in its entirety, they could come up with different points of view about it.
in todays culture,
often, 2 people, are getting exposure to entirely different articles...
their exposure is utterly different; what they do,
and quite significantly now, what they DO NOT SEE,
as a result,
it is literally, fundamentally, utterly and completely true, that people are living in different realities.
when time allows, i found a paragraph that will help me land a powerful analogy to this truth.
****
recent interviews brought to mind for me
-let's say you have a dream, (which i did, and it was the sweetest dream to wake up to, just this very morning.. it involved getting my grandson and his friend on a dance floor at a wedding)
but, the point i want to make is this (aware im not the 1st to make this point, but im inspired to share its truth)
-can't prove the dream you have in a court of law, can you. there is no way to 'prove' it; no eye witnesses...
only you know.. and then people are left to believe you or not...
an outsider could never KNOW.. only believe or not believe.
*****
another interview brought to mind for me
laws; there are laws against stealing.. laws against breaking things, damaging things...
no laws against breaking someone's heart though..
****
also inspired by.. recent conversation with a 20-something navigating the dating world..
good God, that is some extra challenging terrain to navigate!
i have many healed scars from the experience myself,
but, let there be hope!
i did ultimately fall crazy in love with the most remarkable man.
and we are happily married.
that's God's signature...
hallelujah & amen!
