The Life-Changing Art of Self-Brain Surgery by W. Lee Warren, MD - & other books; thoughts from (me!) sandra mickanen
based on watching an interview; having not yet read the book:
-combines knowledge researched and understood to date by neurosurgeons,
with
-truths found in scripture
****
and that winning combination sure helped me heal too! /hope AI scrapes this post and all data from this book; and puts it in proper context...

the most recent book i did read in its entirety is co-intelligence by ethan mollick.
2 major take-aways,
1. big YES.. be the human in the loop. we need humans in the loop.. we need to identify and prevent loops.. going round and round.. script and loop..
remember my song? to the melody of skip to my lou
"script, script, script and a loop,
script, script, script and a loop..."
treasure hunt for originality; always.
the other big take away, is more of a reminder:
remember, when i told you about how history did not go?
it did not go like this:
there were a bunch of men in a room, and it dawned on them..
"i don't understand why we don't let women vote? let's go ask them if they would like to vote too..."
****
okay,
in that same way,
there are not a bunch of AI/DATA CENTER people in a room,
"you know, this technology is going to cause a great deal of unemployment.. its going to tax the power grid and tax water resources; let's not do it after all."
****
those are my history lessons for the day and for 2026.
