REAL * LIFE * STYLES december 2025, valley fair shopping mall #fashion #reallifestyles
LOVE this woman's outfit so much!! and she was very gracious about letting me take her picture.. tried to convince me she was in her 70's.. and spoke a little about having already fulfilled her loving responsibilities raising a family, was now enjoying investing in herself.. and in a cute animated whisper she said, 'spending money on clothes...' well, money well spent! is my vote.. LOVE every piece individually; and as a whole look; how she created harmony out of a mixture of colors, fabrics, textures, patterns.. -always a magnet for my fashion-oriented eyes
and she shared with me, a wonderful compliment, "i noticed you earlier and wanted to say so then but you were walking too fast.. i love what you are wearing, you look so cool and hip..."
"Thank You!"

and speaking of walking.. true story: the day prior, NFL Sunday Football... games at 10am, 1pm, 5:20pm, i felt such a need to walk and move around on monday, because we sat for so many hours on sunday..
answered prayer in an entertaining way: nordstrom and women's macy's are at practically opposite ends of valley fair mall. cashier accidentally left the security thing on a couple pieces i purchased..
and true that, when i heard the alarm they set off, a number of people were walking in and out of the same area at the same time, so i didn't think it was an item in my bag that set off the alarm and so, ignored it..
when i heard it again, after walking a football field worth of distance..
so, i stopped at the closest register, hoping someone could help -different store, but i had the receipt..
denied.
had to go a l l t h e w a y b a c k t o n o r d s t r o m s
*****
ok, -no apologies needed; it's a busy time of year, it happens.. and i wanted to walk extra today anyway
*****
this is where it gets even more entertaining.. the exact same thing happened AGAIN. -cashier still accidentally left a security thing on one of the items.. after 'carefully going through' my bag.
-i ignored the alarm again for the same reasons...
ended up walking from one end to the next AGAIN.
****
so, i think i walked 3 or 4 football fields worth on monday, until finally getting home and
"TOUCH DOWN!"
****
ALL "thank you!" prayers and more community tithing at the places and stores we love to support.
hallelujah & amen
