* of personal note: when i lived in pleasanton, ca.. a primarily republican city, in a democratic state..
i felt like the lone independent; with democratic leanings... and they need my perspective...
now living in san jose, a primarily democratic city within a (currently) democratic state; -formerly independent; now with republican leanings; less alone.. part of a swell...
and they need our perspective
