A wonderful day, beautiful climate

A chunk of land in downtown San Jose, California advertising outdoor roller skating, beer garden

“Let’s go check it out!”

The surrounding areas.. just around the corner on the drive toward:

empty lots, vandalism, graffiti -loiterers, panhandlers, homeless.. addicts, abandon buildings

all of this is pretty near, walking distance to San Jose State University

Little cleaner, safer directly nearby; ok people traffic..

I went directly to the gated roller skating arena.. the music was pumping! There were several security guards on the premises

But had I stayed and rented some skates.. I would have been THE ONLY ONE there.. The. Only. One.

We have beautiful weather, we have young people, families looking for something to do besides be on their phones

No one wants to be somewhere they don’t feel safe. It’s such a cool idea.. the potential!

should be packed with young people, -on the weekend nights..

should be packed with families on a sunday afternoon...

This is fixable..

and for the fixing (we work, we vote) we pray.. amen.
