BIKE RIDES & PICNICS Bliss. 2025 Yard Art by (sexy! & topps!) aka: robert & sandra mickanen #bliss
process: couple things.. once the bricks were relocated into bike shapes, we chose not to paint the top of the bricks, and just them be the color they ended up.. and only paint the inside/outside of the bricks -and love the creative and colorful results. painted the sides of sun bricks w/orange.. pulled out a hand full of the flowers to add to the scene which were originally made for the USA states flag yard art in 2024.
our artist friend Jerry Heinrich will be contributing his 2 squares soon, with text that reads
blue skies & sunshine and bike rides & picnics
the most fun thing about this yard art.. we didn't entirely intend it, but we've been talking about it for some time.. wanting our yard art to be more interactive. we wanted an ability for people to take pictures 'in it' not just 'of it.'
turns out, you can! come sit on the picnic blanket and be in the picture. we've already had a few takers.. makes it extra fun for us. "Thank You!"
